The world is shrinking. Today, or in the very near future, I could be vacationing on a beach in Sri Lanka logged back into my system in Chennai, India, which is connected to the Internet provider in Singapore. At the push of a few buttons, I might be able to purchase an item from my favorite designer store in Toronto, Canada. The purchase might be authenticated in real time by my wife somewhere in Boston using her cell phone. The goods may actually ship from Malaysia to my next intended destination in Indonesia.
